Jason Mittman, CCIM & SEC
Jason is passionate about family, friends, the outdoors, commercial real estate, public speaking, and business coaching. He is a competitive athlete and a mountaineer.
He is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, CCIM, Society of Exchange Counselors (SEC) Member, and holds a degree in business from U.T.S.A. Jason has over 25 years of Real Estate expertise including analysis, sourcing, development, construction, leasing, finance, acquisition, disposition, and brokerage. Mittman has invested in, owned and developed across the spectrum of real estate including medical office, multi-family, multi-tenant retail, land, hospitality, & single tenant assets.
Jason has worked on complex commercial transactions with a variety of issues including entitlement, environmental, lease, finance, cross-easement, eminent domain, foreclosure, defeasance, development, and re-development. Jason has negotiated difficult leases, development and construction, as well as building purchases and sales with a long list of companies. Jason has invested in real estate in Texas, Colorado, Utah, Ohio, Michigan, and Tennessee.
Jason philanthropic is focused on the issues of children: poverty, literacy, and physical and mental health. He is passionate about giving thought provoking presentations and leadership workshops. He has spoken to a variety of audiences from Chambers of Commerce, Schools, to fortune 500 companies on the topic of “Applying lessons from the world’s most brutal races.”
Jason competed for 16 years on the elite adventure racing team: “Team Vignette”. The team has 7 national championships, 53 first place overall finishes, and 88 top 3 overall finishes. He has served on a variety of boards and committees including the US-Israel Science and Technology Foundation, International Technology and Trade Network, The Young Survival Coalition, PESOMEX, Anti-Defamation League, the San Marcos School Bond Committee, Camp Young Judea, and is currently on the board of governors of the Society of Exchange Counselors.
Stewart Scovil has worked in real estate for 20+ years through all various stages of development, construction and asset management. This includes everything from entitlements, site development and new or rehab construction. Most recently Mr. Scovil acquired a 127 unit multifamily project valued at $5.0M+. Mr. Scovil has managed and developed multiple property types with a focus on both commercial, multifamily, and self-storage, with a value in excess of $250 million. Mr. Scovil is also a real estate broker in Kentucky and Indiana.
Mr. Scovil previously consulted with Bluegrass Capital a boutique private equity firm. Bluegrass focused on purchasing distressed assets and mortgages secured by commercial real estate. Mr. Scovil managed the workout process of these assets, which included negotiating new terms with borrowers to working through the foreclosure process and disposition of the property at its highest value. Bluegrass had an internal fund and also partnered with large multi-billion dollar private equity funds for these deals. Mr. Scovil was extensively involved modeling the various property types and deal structures for the benefit of all investors.
Mr. Scovil was also previously the CFO and Vice President of Renaissance Development, a large regional developer based in Louisville Kentucky. He worked as a property and project manager for multiple residential and commercial developments. Mr. Scovil managed the projects through zoning, site development, vertical construction as well as sales and property management. He also obtained financing for all projects in excess of $300 million.
Mr. Scovil graduated from Denison University with a bachelors of arts degree in economics. He also has obtained the designation of Certificated Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). After graduating Mr. Scovil worked as an investment banker being a licensed securities broker with Winebrenner Capital Partners in Louisville Kentucky. While there he raised funds for startup banks and technology companies as well doing mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Scovil is married with two young children. He is actively involved in his community and church as well as coaching his kids at multiple different sports. Prior to his real estate career Mr. Scovil was a semi-professional road cyclist and competed across the country.

Jodi S. Skees, CPA
Jodi joined the Only Epic team in 2020 as CFO. Jodi is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and a member of the Kentucky Society of CPAs. Jodi’s day-to-day work ranges across corporate financial analysis; cash flow management; coordination and preparation of financial statements and tax returns; astute tax and business planning; and interaction with investors and business partners. Jodi’s career experience with partnership and tax issues proves very helpful in strategic plan and deal structure. Prior to joining Only Epic, Jodi spent several years as the CFO for a well-respected Real Estate Developer focusing in commercial, premium multi-family and hospitality properties across the United States along with property management.
Jodi currently serves on the Kentucky Society of CPAs Commercial Real Estate Committee.
Jodi graduated Magna Cum Laude with Departmental Honors in Accounting from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. She began her career with Arthur Andersen, LLP in Louisville, KY. While working in the public accounting arena, Jodi gained valuable experience in both the auditing and tax sectors. Her exposure to a wide range of business industries and structures led to her passion for working with entrepreneurs in small to mid-sized businesses. She strengthened her business and accounting acumen by working for several years in professional service firms which encompassed the legal industry, creative design shops and on her own as an Independent Accounting Professional providing Controller and CFO services.
Jodi Skees, CPA
Justin is a licensed contractor and is currently Director of Construction and Maintenance for Only Epic Holdings, bringing 16 years of Construction Management, Logistics, and Operational Process experience. He currently oversees all development, new construction, commercial buildouts, and maintenance of properties nationwide.
Justin began his career with Centex Homes in the fast-paced, production homes marked in Washington D.C. He spent 4 years in the multi-family new construction world, culminating in his role as Senior Project Manager of an $80 million condo and townhome development. With the fall of the housing market in 2008, Justin transitioned into the transportation industry for the nation’s largest waste hauling company.
He worked his way from Operations Manager to District Manager to Operational Improvements and Logistics Manager for the Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Arkansas area. In his role, Justin worked to implement streamlined processes through technology, operational management, and routing logistics for 21 hauling locations and over 2,000 hauling routes. Most recently, before joining Only Epic, Justin has been the owner of a high-end building and remodeling company in the Louisville, Kentucky area and serves on the Board of Directors for the local Home Builders’ Association.
As Operations Manager of Only Epic Holdings, Nicki’s passion for organization and efficiency are met with the challenge of juggling financial, property management and marketing tasks. She brings to our team years of experience from a variety of industries but most notably in Real Estate development assisting with investor relations, sales and asset brand positioning. Nicki graduated from the University of Louisville with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing and Communications in 2010. She was named a “40 under 40” honoree by Louisville Business First in 2015. Nicki and her husband reside in Bradenton, Florida where they enjoy chasing their two little boys.
