Over a one year period, Mittman and a team he assembled were able to revive the property owners association, fix multiple platting and deed issues, and bring on board development partners to create a new mixed use development. Construction is now underway for 228 units of apartments and marketing has commenced for 25,000 square feet of retail. Mittman is leading the development and leasing of the retail portion; his Atlanta-based partner is developing the multi-family complex. The process included purchase, re-plat, entitlement, design, leasing, construction, financing, leasing, and sale.
